New York rapper Pop Smoke has been fatally shot in a home invasion robbery at the age of 20.
According to law enforcement, Pop Smoke was killed at a home in Hollywood at 4:30am local time after two masked men broke in and fired shots which wounded the rapper.
He was then taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre where he was pronounced dead.
The suspects have not yet been caught.
Pop Smoke had catapulted to stardom last year following the release of his hit single “Welcome To The Party”, which has currently gained over 23 million views on YouTube.
He had recently released his project, Meet The Woo 2, which features the likes of Quavo, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and more.
