In the words of Rihanna, the wait is over! Rihanna has finally released her new album ‘Anti’, 4 years after her last release ‘Unapologetic’. However it is only to be downloaded by Samsung users for 24 hours only, as Rihanna posted the link via her Twitter.

Once the codes have been used, then the album can be downloaded through the Tidal store. ‘Anti’ will also be available to stream only on Tidal for 7 days. The deluxe version of the album, which will include three extra tracks, will be out on Friday. In terms of the Official Charts, music given for free will not be accounted for, however, when the album is bought after Friday, then these sales will be counted for the charts.

‘Anti’ has 13 tracks, which includes productions from The Weeknd, Travis Scott, DJ Mustard and Timberland. Rihanna released the first track “Work” from her album yesterday, which features Drake. Whilst listening to the album you may find “Same ‘Ol Mistakes” sounds familiar as Rihanna sampled Tame Impala’s “New Person Same Old Mistakes”. This is not the first time Rihanna has sampled an artist having sampled Ginuwine’s “Pony” in “Jump” on her ‘Unapologetic’ album.

Even though it took her a few years to bring out a new album, Rihanna was not absent from the music industry, as she released a few singles, including “FourFiveSeconds” and “B***h Better Have My Money”. She also featured in the animated movie ‘Home’ in 2015, which she also recorded two tracks for the soundtrack; “Dancing in the Dark” and “Towards the Sun”. Apparently the reason behind the delay of her album release is because Kanye West was suppose to play a major part in executive producing her album, however left the project to focus on his own music. Kanye West is currently working on his new album ‘Waves’ (previously ‘SWISH’).
