This week has been big for Skepta – he’s just announced his clothing campaign with Japanese brand Uniqlo and has now brought us the announcement we’ve all been waiting for! The MC has just announced, in an interview with i-D magazine, that he’s finally finishing Konichiwa, his highly anticipated album.
He told i-D, “I’m finishing my album Konichiwa this week. Finished! Done! Three years of my life encapsulated on a CD.”
Adding to the hype, he’s also leaked a hard-to-read photo of his official tracklist artwork, likely to appear on the back of the physical CD.
The MC also noted that he’s doing the first ever ‘Konichiwa’ shows in Japan “because of the album” and its clear connection to the country.
