Snoop Dogg has been known to have his run ins with the law, including being stopped by Swedish police for driving under the influence of drugs and altercations where he claimed the police to have been racist towards him, but this new situation is a little different.
Snoop has been touring around Europe in promotion of his latest album release ‘Bush’. After a concert in Calabria at the Temple of Atlantis in Montepaone Lidosi, he had to travel immediately to England. He travelled on a private jet, which isn’t too much of a shock for someone like Snoop, but during routine checks, authorities found A LOT more money than what was declared.
The amount they found was nearly $500,000. It was proven to be legal money which he received for concerts and some of the tour dates, but was well over the $10,000 allowance that you are allowed to carry.
Half of the money is being held by the Italian authorities until a fine can be processed, which shouldn’t be a problem to pay seeing he’s carrying nearly half a million in his briefcase.
