Stormzy’s ‘Gang Signs And Prayer’ lands number 1 on the chart

He’s only gone and done it.

After days of speculation and will he/won’t he, it looks like Stormzy has landed the number one album in the country with Gang Signs And Prayer.

He has reportedly sold 68,594 copies in his first week, knocking Rag N Bone Man from the top spot, who sold 64,735 copies in his second week on the chart.


Reportedly, 15,000 copies were sold yesterday alone, after a huge social push from Stormzy and the industry in general.


Gang Signs And Prayer initially looked to claim the top prize, but as the week went on, it seemed more likely that he was going to miss out.
