Welcome back to The Plug, your only definitive guide to the best music out of our scene, every single week. Last week we brought you an incredible playlist, featuring the likes of Little Simz, Shakka and MoStack – if you missed that one, make sure you check it out right here.

This week we’re back on track with a bumper sized playlist of the most diverse, and most importantly, sickest new music. Our guy Griff runs through 7 of our favorites below, The Plug’s full playlist is included at the bottom too, which this week stands at a staggering 20 tracks long. That’s like a whole double-disc album, curated by us, for you. Thank us later.

Sneakbo – Right Now

Kicking off this week’s selections is the Jetski wave donny himself, Sneakbo, who’s blessed the e-streets with yet another banger. It doesn’t matter who you think is at the top right now, Sneakbo is still at the crest of his own wave and it’s hard to argue anything else. He breezes over the production, filling the pockets in all the right places with his trademark flow.

PW – I Swear (ft. Scorcher, Mercston, Youngs Teflon & Avelino)

PW had been quiet for a long time, prior to the release of his Scorcher-featuring banger “I Swear”. Now the North London man is buzzing again, with his track getting an all-star remix. With new verses from Mercston, Tefs and Avelino, Pee Wee sure seems to have an anthem on his hands here, I swear.

Rayf – Where You Been

The Mellow Grime movement seems to get stronger with every release they put out. Whether it’s super-producer KwolleM mashing together a classic tune into something totally original, or the distorted beauty of Rayf’s vocals, which aren’t quite Grime and aren’t quite R&B; they do however, carry some of the greatness of both genres. Take “Where You Been”, his latest effort – it starts with his auto-tuned vocals lending some emotive feeling into the track, all before a Crazy Titch accapella starts and turns it into an entirely different banger.

President T – I Don’t Care About The Law (ft. Milli Major)

“I Don’t Care About The Law” is unmistakably Grimey. Prez T, the former Meridian Crew member, takes things back to the essence of Grime, enlisting fellow North Londoner and Bloodline rep Milli Major along with him, as well as legendary producer Spooky taking control behind the boards. We don’t care about many things, but this is certainly one of them.

The Heavytrackerz – Say It Ain’t That (ft. Section Boyz)

Production team The Heavytrackerz, who are responsible for some of Grime’s largest hits in recent memory (looking at you, “German Whip), have their own collection of music that really should not be slept on. “Say It Ain’t That” is the follow up to their “TRKRZ” single and instead of an ensemble cast, they’ve enlisted just the Section Boyz for this one. Thank the lord too, as the adlib-kings more than hold their own.

Bonkaz – Solo / So Low

After turning things up on The Plug, as we near the end of this week’s highlights, it’s time to turn things back down a little. Man of the moment Bonkaz isn’t slowing down his grind any time soon, despite releasing a whole EP worth of new music under a month ago. He’s released another loosie onto his SoundCloud, an ode to a frustrating gyal. This is very, very New Gen.

Renz – Take Time

Speaking of the New Gen, we’re closing off The Plug with another one of their reps. Renz brings his sweet-as-honey vocals to another new track, a demo called “Take Time”. As always, it treads a wonderfully thin line between Trap music and R&B, leaving nothing but vibes in it’s wake. Renz’ new EP ‘Impure’ is coming soon.
