Introducing The Shortlist.

Featuring the hottest MC’s, rappers and artists that you’re going to be hearing a hell of a lot of over the next 12 months and beyond. From rap to grime, R&B to drill, there’s a flavour for everybody on our new album.

Handpicked by us at GRM Daily to create some original music, we’ve brought together the UK undergrounds freshest talent into one place, just for you.

This is the future of our scene and we’re over the moon to be able to provide this platform for them.

The album is out now across all streaming platforms: iTunesApple MusicSpotify. While you get familiar with the music, we thought it’s only right we start introducing the key players from the project.

Now, we’d like to introduce you to Dis.

What ends are you from?

I’m from New Cross in South London.

What inspires you to make music?

MDot and Showkey.

For the next year and 5 years what have you set your sights on?

In the next year, I’d love to get a MOBO or be nominated for one. In the next five years, probably be famous on a global level

In the UK & the US what would your dream collaborations be?

In the US would definitely be Young MA and Drake. Not too sure about the UK, but I’d probably say Dave, he’s wavy.

Back in the day, what was the first CD/MP3 that you downloaded?

Lollipop.

5 MCs that you rate highly… Go.

Abra Cadabra, Krept & Konan, MDot, Showkey, Nadia Rose

Tell me the tune you’re banging the most right now

I like Yxng Bane’s version of Ed Sheehan’s “Shape Of You”, it’s wavy. Or Yung Fume – Gave Up.

Last one. What would you say put you on the map

My “Cheeky Freestyle” for sure.
