In case you’ve been living under a rock and have missed the entire Chip/Tinie Tempah/Bugzy Malone saga it’s only fair we give you a quick run down.

Chip set 2015 alight when he went on Charlie Sloth’s Fire In The Booth in January, where he called out Tinie Tempah for making a dig at him in his 2014 Fire In The Booth with the lyrics; “I left the pizza boys that thought I won’t deliver again, you say you’re gonna be around, let’s see who is in the end”. As Chip is the only rapper in the UK to have a track called “Pizza Boy” (featuring Meek Mill) it is fair to say the shots were probably fired his way.

Addressing the whole situation exactly one year later, Chip told Charlie that Tinie’s one “weren’t a fire in the booth”. He also said he heard Tinie’s Fire in The Booth and “it broke his heart”.

Chip reignited the scene with a frenzy of back and forth’s, most notably between himself and Bugzy Malone.

In the past few weeks Chip has dropped not 1, not 2, not 3, BUT 4 videos sending for both Bugzy and Tinie himself.

Remaining completely silent on the matter, bar one track with Bugzy and Stormzy, Tinie has finally chosen to respond.

Taking to the stage at BBC’s 1xtra Live in Leeds on Saturday night, the headliner dropped a brand new track amidst his classics. The rapper made some obvious digs back at Chip and also name drops the scenes most prolific interview show Not For The Radio:

We can only presume this track will be placed on Tinie’s rumoured forthcoming mixtape which includes collabs from the likes of J Avalanche, Mostack, KSI, Bonkaz, Stormzy, JME, Wretch 32 and more.

Chip responded to the footage with the following tweets:

The song also appears to also have a hook from Stormzy, which (going by his tweets) he had no idea about until it was performed live on the night.
