A brand-new season of Top Boy has finally been announced.
The official Top Boy account took to Twitter to break the news, announcing the start date for filming of the season.
The tweet also reveals that Ashley Walters, Kano, Micheal Ward and Little Simz will return as their characters Dushane, Sully, Jamie and Shelley.
Since the arrival of the previous season last September, there has been plenty of talk of a follow-up for the gritty crime drama, with Ashely Walters all but confirming the fourth season back in November.
Towards the end of last year, Top Boy was listed as one of the most popular Netflix series of 2019 and we can expect the next season to be just as much of a hit with fans when it arrives.
