World Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has looked to repay punters after his fight withdrawal, buying 200 Jägerbombs for England fans in Nice.

The round of drinks, which amassed to €1000, comes following the Gypsy King’s postponing of his fight against Wladimir Klitschko due to injury.

Both Klitschko and Fury were scheduled to fight for the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO belts on July 9th at the Manchester Arena, only for Tyson to sustain an ankle injury and pull out.

However, this hasn’t stopped him having fun, with the 6ft7 fighter seen out in sunny France with England fans at Euro 2016.

On top of his exploits on the continent, the boxer was also spotted raving at the beginning of the month at Gottwood Festival.

Rumours circulated soon after that he had sustained his ankle injury at the festival in Wales, following a full weekend of turning up.

The videos surfaced only hours after pictures of Wladimir Klitschko’s gruelling regime were released to the public, showing a hilariously varying stance on training.

To add to the injury allegations, there were also reports of his drug use at the festival, which were bound to creep up. It’s highly unlikely to be the case, but it’s an interesting though, right?

Although, the Wythenshawe-born champ has come under intense scrutiny in the last few days, following reports of a failed drugs test. I know what you’re thinking, but it’s not Class A drugs, but performance enhancing ones. Again, they are only rumours, so hopefully they will be quashed.

It’s fair to say that the allegations and injuries have failed to dampen Fury’s spirit, and long may that continue. Not only is it refreshing to see an athlete enjoy life like he does, but also his friendly approach to fans.

Could we see Fury at Wireless in a few weeks? We wouldn’t put it past him. See you there, Tyson, Jägerbombs on us this time.
