As it’s coming to the end of the university year, students know that there’s no better way to go out, other than with a bang. That’s exactly what two first year students at the University of West of England thought when they threw their event, ‘Raveageddon’, in their uni halls.

Flats 704 and 705 in Marketgate, Bristol were kitted out with LED lights and they had a full line up announced before the dance began. Somehow – just know we have no idea how – the party was supposedly  so massive, that it warranted its very own Snapchat filter!

The rave-loving students were fined £700 and told they wouldn’t be getting any of their flat deposits back. It wasn’t however totally peak for them, as prominent DJ and promoter Pat Nazemi sought out the main suspect and offered him a full time job. It really could have been worse you know, with a new career and a SnapChat filter to immortalise your legendary night forever. Or at least for five or 6 seconds.
