The talent emerging from the UK at the moment is bigger and better than ever. In particular, a wave of multi-discipline acts are breaking through and impressing with their range of abilities.
An artist who can certainly be classed in this category, is 169. Best known until this point as the producer of Dave’s 2016 banger “Wanna Know”, which as we all know went on to be remixed to feature that Drake guy. He also refixed the almost untouchable until that point Ruff Squad “Pied Piper” instrumental for Dave and AJ Tracey’s “Thiago Silva”.
Aside from his producing ability, his vocal skills are now being showcased on new track “Gone”. The track was debuted on DJ Target’s 1Xtra show and has had some visuals released also. It’s a wavy track with a suitably low-key video, you can check it above now.
With all the hype surrounding 169 and his proven producing record, we’re sure this release is on the path for more greatness for the young star.
