Tekashi 6ix9ine has released his first new track following his release from prison last month, and the video is his most colourful one yet.

The track titled “GOOBA” includes references to COVID-19 (“Basic, been hot, way before coronavirus”) and 6ix9ine’s cooperation with federal prosecutors and testimony (“Tell me how I ratted, came home to a big bag”). The video, which ended up crashing YouTube after it was uploaded, shows the New York rapper sporting his rainbow coloured hair surrounded by twerking girls, a puppy, and the rapper flexing his fresh new shark chain which cost him 1.6 million dollars.

The rapper took to Instagram live for his first appearance since prison and broke the record for the number of viewers on an Instagram live, with 2 million people watching. After a quick shout out to Drake, Tory Lanez, Bad Bunny and his lawyers, 6ix9ine apologised to his supporters, but he didn’t apologise to his haters for working with the authorities.

“If a rat came home and did more numbers than me, I’d be mad, you have every reason to be mad, no matter how much dirt you threw under my name, for two years you made fun of me, you didn’t go through what I did, I’m a living legend at the age of 24.”

In December 2019, 6ix9ine was sentenced to 24 months in prison for federal racketeering and weapons charges, with five years of supervised release. His release date was scheduled for August 2, 2020, but 6ix9ine received an early release in April due to the rapid spread of COVID-19.
