AJ from the LaLa is back yet again since his last single since “False 9” which was debuted at the GRM x Nike Spurs 2017 kit launch in Tottenham earlier this summer.
The dark visuals for “Blacked Out” matches the dark, greasy production by the legendary Sir Spyro and features AJ looking sick standing amongst a variety of glowing strobes. The song itself is another banger from one of grime’s most consistent talents, featuring a sick catchy hook and verses packed with the standard 10/10 AJ bars that will have you both gun fingering and creasing.
The track is the third in a string of summer releases from the West London MC, including “LA4AWEEK” and the previously mentioned “False 9”, and in the description sights the release date of a new EP entitled Secure The Bag! on October 6th. There’s definitely something to look forward to in the future for AJ fans, but for now, we can sit back and enjoy.
