Kanye West has become known for an on-stage rant in the more recent years of his career, and this week he was back at it again.
In Seattle on Wednesday night, Kanye West alluded to him and Jay Z being removed from Drake’s hit “Pop Style”, telling the crowd, “Let me tell y’all something. There will never be a Watch The Throne 2.
“You know why? Because that’s the reason why I wasn’t on the song [“Pop Style”]. I wasn’t on the song because of Hov. Because of some Tidal/Apple bullshit.”
While it initially seemed that it was dodgy business which has got Ye hot, he later hinted at something more personal between him and his “Big Brother“. He declared, “It went into some Tidal shit, some political shit, some shit about percentages on songs. I can’t take this shit, bro! Our kids ain’t never even played together.”
Later on in the same show, he referred to his wife, Kim Kardashian, and her recent robbery in Paris. It seems Kanye isn’t happy with Jay in how he dealt with that situation either, exclaiming, “Don’t call me, after the robbery, and say ‘how you feeling?’ You wanna know how I’m feeling? Come by the house.”
For the sake of the music, let’s hope these long term brothers can sort things out.
