Blanco has blessed us with two gifts today – a fresh, new tape entitled English Dubbed as well as visuals for the project’s opener, “Pull Up”.
Containing six tracks, English Dubbed is a combination of smooth tracks such as “Pull Up” and “Mirrorman” and more domineering tunes demonstrated by the presence of “I See The Dead” and the previously released single “Salomon Rondon”. The EP clocks in at just under twenty minutes in length and in that time, we hear Blanco delivering playful and greazy lyrics; enlisting Birmingham’s Mitch to add to the cruddy feel on “Where I’m From”.
As mentioned above, “Pull Up” is infused with a laid-back vibe and it’s chilled mood is extended to the visuals where we see Blanco kicking back in an around an apartment with his guys.
