In preparation for his album drop next week, Chip has released a new track called “Right Now” featuring JME and Frisco.

On the hard-hitting track, Chip speaks on his longevity in the game, destroying his competition and his success in clashes in his opening verse. Chip also delivers a catchy and bar-filled chorus whilst JME offers a punchline-laced verse and Frisco brings an ad-lib-heavy guest appearance in his signature style.

The sick instrumental – produced by Sevaqk – is given the pedestal it deserves at the end of the track and its carefully crafted composition, including piano sounds which have a slight drill influence, can be heard in full during the last thirty seconds.

Chip and Frisco previously linked on the 2013 track “Are You” which heavily samples Guido’s “Mad Sax”. JME appeared on Chip’s last album League Of My Own II  where the two collaborated for “Scene” which also featured Jammer, D Double E, Miraa May and Wiley.

The Tottenham MC recently posted the tracklist to Instagram and the album is set to feature collaborations with B. Young, Maleek Berry, Kranium, Red Rat and this years’ Rated Awards Artist of the Year, Not3s.

“Right Now” is taken from Chip’s upcoming album Ten10 which is due to be released on the 21st of September. Watch the visuals for “Right Now” featuring JME and Frisco above.
