When it comes to dream collaborations on a track, you can’t get much better than Dave and J Hus linking up for a new one. Thankfully, today we’ve got just that.
Streatham and Newham unite on a melodic track the pair have called “Samantha”, which features them flexing their vocal ability as well as their bars, on an instrumental from producer Jae5.
Dave recently told Julie Adenuga on Beats 1 about the record, saying, “He’s [J Hus] a sick musician, he’s got a crazy different type of energy to him… I was in the first year of college coming out of secondary school hearing a GRM Daily freestyle and everyone was going crazy about it, so from there to “Dem Boy Paigon”, “Friendly”, “Lean and Bop”, so many huge tunes, the way that we met was crazy funny. He’s a proper good friend.”
