After learning that the Los Angeles Galaxy football team were planning to honour the legendary footballer with a golden statue in his likeness, James Corden hijacked their plans and created a dupe version which exaggerated David Beckham’s features and didn’t flatter his truthful looks.
James then invited David Beckham for a private viewing of the fake statue before it was due to be unveiled to the public. To add fuel to the fire, James Corden also hired actors to pose as fans and annoy the football star.
