Since Pusha T released his new album DAYTONA yesterday, the internet has been alight with one line from the project in particular, that took aim at his long term nemesis Drake.
Now the situation has got even spicier, as within less than 24 hours, Drizzy has taken some time out to directly respond with bars.
Dropping it late last night – as is tradition with the Boy – Drake unveiled the scathing diss track “Duppy Riddim”, that holds a bunch of tough lines aimed at the head tops of both Pusha T and Kanye West.
The beef has deep roots, first originating around 2012 when Pusha unveiled his scathing track “Exodus 23:1”, that addressed the label situation surrounding Birdman, Lil Wayne and Drake, before years later, the 6 God replied with some subliminals on his song “Two Birds, One Stone”.
“Duppy Freestyle” is the most direct we’ve ever got though, so this looks set to be an exciting week in American hip-hop. Stay tuned for more info and any further replies!
