Versatile in his field, Gibbs is one artist not afraid to dip in and out of converging genres and undoubtedly – being ‘Lit’ whilst doing so. In this instance, the Northampton native embraces his Grime roots.
Kick starting his 2019 off with a fast pace flow; he transmits hard-hitting energy, giving off the intention that he is here to stay.
Infusing the instrumental with an authentic grime beat, well-known dub-step producer ‘Trolley Snatcha’ joins forces with Gibbs once again and delivers.
Directed by Chalky, the visuals transition from full-length shots of Gibbs swerving round in a flashy Audi to slower shots of him situated in a local convenient store or surrounded by a congregation of his boys.
Continuing with the use of inventive videos to match his wave of liveliness, we can only wish to expect to see more of this from the artist in the forthcoming year.
