In the early hours of the morning, J Cole dropped his first release of 2017.
The track, called “High For Hours”, isn’t featured on his latest album 4 Your Eyez Only, but in typical J Cole style he manages to tackle some deep issues on a laid-back beat from producers Elite and Can O’Bi, aptly releasing the track on MLK Day.
With Obama clocking out of the White House last week, it seems that J Cole had Obama-nostalgia as he recalls meeting the President in verse two.
