Yesterday, we reported that J. Cole is set to release a brand new album, called 4 Your Eyez Only, two whole years to the day since his last LP.
Now, we’re starting to see some music roll out from it and it’s already getting the people talking. Two new videos, “False Prophets” and “Be Like This” have surfaced online, with the former kicking up quite the storm already online.
There’s a handful of lines on there that sounds like Cole is sending for Kanye West and Drake, both former collaborators of the Dreamville star.
He raps, “It’s my fault for idolising n*ggas based off the words they be rapping/Then I come to find out these n*ggas dont even write they shit/There’s a new style bubbling up and then they bite that shit.”
Seems a bit close to the bone right? It gets even more obvious than that, so you’ll have to pree the new visuals for “False Prophet” above, before checking out “Be Like This” below too.
