Jevon calls on Kida Kudz and Diggy Simmons for his international collaboration, “Lingo”.
The track interpolates elements of afro-bashment in its instrumental and in the catchy chorus from Kida Kudz which pays homage to Kida Kudz’ Nigerian heritage.
Jevon flows with ease over the instrumental with lyrics about girls, flexing and his lit lifestyle. The track follows a consistent flow of new music from Jevon including several freestyles.
The track acts as a reintroduction for many to American rapper Diggy Simmons who released his debut album in 2012 which featured collaborations with Jeremih, Jadakiss and R&B singer Tank. Diggy pays homage to Jevon’s British hailings with lyrics that reference British culture and the royal family. Diggy even uses UK slang such as “peng” in his bars.
