Taking on an emotive rap instrumental, the South East London artist gets introspective on “Before We Begin”, laying himself bare in his lyrics and talking that realness. Lines like, “23 and I know what I’ll do forever/Either I’ll do it different or do it better,” ooze quiet confidence from this exciting prospect.
