Juls has linked up with Tiggs Da Author and Santi to bring you their brand-new offering, “Maayaa”.
Dedicated to American poet, singer, memoirist, and civil rights activist Maya Angelou, “Maayaa” is a track that captures powerful female energy, displayed best in the visuals full of inspirational women.
Recently speaking during an interview, Juls said “I wanted to create a visual as an ode to our black women. As the song is also dedicated to Maya Angelou, I also wanted to develop an aesthetic that represented Africa as well and incorporate dance performances, highlighting on black beauty and the power of our African mothers.”
