The music community has been shattered by the sudden and tragic loss of rising upstart Pop Smoke and now one of his frequent collaborators, Lil TJay, has released a tribute in his honour.
The teenage prodigy, who also hails from Pop’s hometown of New York, pays his respects on “Forever Pop”, a melodic and wavy tune delivered in his distinctive style, in a tone that takes no shame in putting his pain on full display. The pair had collaborated numerous times, on huge hits such as “War” and more recently “Mannequin”.
