Last night, Little Simz joined DJ Target on Radio 1Xtra for another episode of his in-depth interviews.
DJ Target is one of the best UK presenters when it comes to going in-depth with artists about their life and music careers; previously interviewing the likes of Wretch 32 and Jammer. This time, it’s North-London based Little Simz who joins target in the studio for a thorough interview.
During the interview she talks about auditioning to play Shuri in Black Panther, her relationship with The Gorillaz, working on her third studio album and her much deserved support from the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Andre 3000.
With her upcoming Welcome to Wonderland: The Experience 2 which will take place on Sunday 4th March in London, the rapper has been releasing numerous visuals in the lead-up. The most recent visual piece released today accompanies her heartfelt track, “Doorways + Trust Issues” which comes from her second studio album, Stillness in Wonderland.
