Singer-songwriter Mabel has released her brand new single online and it featured a special appearance from one of our favourite artists right now.
Kojo Funds added his own touch to “Finders Keepers”, an R&B tune which takes it’s cues from dancehall and that was apparently influenced by Drake and Rihanna. Mabel said of the tune, “[It] is really about letting go and not overthinking. I’m English, Swedish and Sierra Leonean and it was important for me to begin to explore my mixed roots musically.”
Now she’s given the catchy tune a new boost with a brand new remix. This time around it gets extra verses from Nigerian artist Burna Boy and “You Alright Yh?” hitmaker Don-E.
