Since his release from prison back in April, Championships is Meek Mill’s first full-length project after his four-track Legends Of The Summer EP that dropped in July.

With his last album Wins & Losses out during summer of last year and his “The Motivation Tour” kicking off over in Miami in February, fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of Meek’s music.

With features from Cardi B, Rick Ross, Jay Z, Future and heaps more, there was one major feature that everyone was dying to hear, Drake. After Meek exposed ghostwriting accusations towards Drake the duo have been battling each-other ever-since. Their last collaboration happened back on Meek’s Dreams Worth More Than Money album in 2015 with their hit “R.I.C.O.”. Now the pair has decided to push all previous beef behind them and move forward with their new track “Going Bad”.

Meek told Ebro Darden at Beats 1 that the album isn’t a comeback but is about “beating poverty, beating racism, beating the system, beating gun violence and beating the streets”.
