Mischief has dropped visuals for his latest single, “Foul Play”.
The rapper spins the usual drill blueprint on its head with this offering. The vocal flow of the track shows a great amount of clarity, paired with a steady and strong flow. The chorus hook is the first lyrics we hear, cementing the tone and theme of the single instantly and Mischief keeps the energy up as he switches up flows in the second half of the track.
As you’d expect, the beats is a percussion-led instrumental, with a punchy kick and some rhythmic high-hats. The melody gives us feels of tension with soft strings and a balancing 808 line. The visuals of the release show a gritty side of the city to reflect the feel of the beat and bars, matched with some subtle flexes and the gang representing.
