Novelist has hooked up with New York producer Nick Hook (see what we did there?) to create a conscious grime track called “Can’t Tell Me Nothing”.
The Lewisham spitter duppies the hard instrumental, with the same pumped up energy as always. As he lyrically breaks his bars down in true Novelist fashion, the video flashes to scenes of the riots in the UK a few years ago.
By now, it’s no surprise to see Novelist making such progressive moves. The artist recently announced he is starting his own label. Check out one of his recent tunes called “Girl’s Around The World”
