The Noisey platform has returned with their latest documentary and this time, they’ve enlisted Chuckie to cover the Irish drill scene.
Within this documentary, the burgeoning drill scene is delved into over in Ireland with a number of Irish drill artists being involved. We hear their inspirations and how they use the Irish accent to their advantage. The so-called Godfather of the Irish drill scene, INK, based in Dublin is heavily involved in the documentary, and we see the artist spit proudly and patriotically with his Irish accent shining through.
While we hear plenty of music, the main question is whether the Irish drill scene comes with the same negative stigmas that the London drill scene has.
