Following up her recent collaboration with Stormzy on “My Hood“, singer/songwriter Ray BLK drops “Chill Out”, a single from her forthcoming project Durt.
The track, which features SG Lewis on production, focuses on the social pressures of women and aims to challenge this. Ray melodically sings over an atmospheric beat, “You’re making a big deal of nothing/You should chill out.”
Recently, RAY was nominated for best breakthrough act at GRM’s Rated Awards, which also saw her perform a stripped back rendition of “My Hood”. She has also been nominated for a MOBO Award for best newcomer which you can vote for here.
