“Mr. Rope” is full of well-constructed bars with clever punchlines and cultural references including to Headie One’s “Know Better” and the cartoon series Ed, Edd n Eddy. Reeko calls out and mocks his opps with a chilled yet cheeky delivery and he maintains a steady flow throughout the song.
The video is colourful and well edited with trippy effects and animated imagery.
