Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma have been beefing through tracks and verses for months now, but today Remy has upped the levels once again.
She’s released another new track she’s called “Another One”, premiering it on Funkmaster Flex’s radio show. She spins Drake’s “Back To Back” flow and riddim into something of her own, as she aims for Nicki’s jugular.
It follows the initial spark of Nicki’s verse on her and Gucci Mane’s new collaboration. Nicki rapped, “She ain’t eatin but I swear she got some bum ass taste / Text her man like, ‘Dawg, how that bum ass taste?’ / Pay your rent! And stay in your bum ass place / Ooooh, oh you the que-e-e-the queen of this here? One platinum plaque, album flopped, bitch where?”
Less than 24 hours after that, Remy Ma clapped back. Hard.
She dropped a viscous diss track titled “Shether”, of course playing on Nas’ Jay-Z diss. In the track she commented on Nicki’s suspected butt implants, accused her of starting the Drake vs. Meek Mill beef and hooking up with Hot 97’s Ebro.
Nicki swiftly responded with a simple but effective screenshot of the poor charting of Remy Ma & Fat Joe’s joint album, Plato O Plomo. Ouch.
