Stormzy was in attendance at the GQ Men of the Year Awards last night, where he ended up taking home the prize for Solo Artist of the Year.

Big Mike was presented his award by none other than Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and when he stepped up on stage to recite his acceptance speech, things kept a political undertone.

He thanked his ever-present mum during the speech and bigged up Ronan Keating – yes, really – but he also dedicated a couple seconds to send shots at Theresa May and call her a “paigon”.

Check out the moment he took home the award and the speech afterwards above now. Congratulations Stormzy on taking home another coveted prize.

Don’t forget that he and his number one album, Gang Signs And Prayer, are also nominated at this year’s Mercury Prize, alongside the likes of J Hus and Loyle Carner.
