Former EDL leader Tommy Robinson was caught repeatedly punching a man by dashcam footage from a coach that was parked nearby.
The altercation is believed to have happened soon after 7pm last night, as three men were forced to step in to separate Robinson and the man on the other end of his punches. Robinson has claimed it was “self-defence.”
It’s further been reported by a witness that “Robinson threw the first punch after a verbal with the man” and that “the other person was not aggressive.” The ex EDL man has since tweeted a statement, claiming, “Tommy was at the races with his wife. This man followed them both to their coach, abusing them.”
Robinson is facing police questioning today as a result of the footage.
