Caitlyn Jenner, the Olympic athlete formerly known as Bruce, made her debut as a transgender woman today, posing in sexy lingerie on the cover of Vanity Fair. The cover headline for the July issue reads “Call me Caitlyn”.

She also joined Twitter as Caitlyn, with a “welcome to the world Caitlyn” message.

By the time of this post going to press merely hours after her new Twitter being created, she has hit over a million followers. The last time Jenner was seen in the media was in April with ABC’s Diane Sawyer during a two-hour special, when he was still known as Bruce, didn’t wear women’s clothes and refused to disclose the new woman’s name.

Inside Vanity Fair is an interview with Jenner, 65, who speaks about her transition, how she kept her sense of herself as a woman secret for nearly seven decades, through three marriages and 10 children and stepchildren.

“If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life,'” she said.

Welcome to the world Caitlyn Jenner.
