Last night was the annual NME awards, a rare event where all genres of music are celebrated.

Grime certainly got it’s fair share of recognition throughout the night with Kano and Skepta nominated for Best Male Artist (and Skep taking home the prize), and the music publication choosing to honour the Godfather with their Outstanding Contribution to Music award.

After being presented the award by Skep, Wiley took to the stage to perform two tracks, “Speakerbox” and “Can’t Go Wrong” both from the Godfather album, which dropped last month.

Pree the performance above and it’s clear to see why the man has been recognised.
