Wiley has wasted no time and has unleashed a freestyle on Instagram, taking aim at Dizzee Rascal. The original story continues below, while the video is available above.
The long standing beef between grime scene legends Dizzee Rascal and Wiley took a dramatic turn today.
It began when Wil took grievance at Diz apparently using the title “Godfather of Grime”, an alias that has long been attached to him. He rallied off a series of tweets voicing his displeasure and wish to keep the title.
Things took a dramatic turn on Sunday afternoon, where Dizzee Rascal seemingly caught wind of the tweets and responded, taking to his own twitter account to voice his views.
He made some dramatic claims against Wiley, calling him a “nonce” and claiming that he slept with a girl when she was 14 years old, adding, “I’ve never seen a Nonce (sic) so protected since Saville. Thats life but I’m not gonna let you dis my name then rate him in the same sentence.”
Things got even more heated when Dizzee wrote, “Wiley I know you think all this trolling is funny but one day you’re (sic) push me too far and I’m going to kill you. I hope you all keep laughing.”
Former Roll Deep MC and affiliate of both, Trim, added to the stir by writing, “Bare Of (sic) These Man Are Demonic.. Coz You All Know Dill Ain’t Lying…I’m Done Anyway You Lot Made A Man “Godfather” .. That Title In It’s Self Is Fucked Up.. Imagine My Man Being Godfather Of Your Kids!! Not Even Funny!!”
Wiley has of course denied the accusations in his run of tweets.
This is certainly not something the fans want to see, with some real serious allegations being made, but isn’t exactly surprising given the pair’s long running fractious relationship.
Some of the tweets have now been deleted, but several remain on both of their respective accounts.
Earlier this year, Dizzee Rascal responded to Wiley’s numbered comments over the years with some lyrics on his Raskit song “The Other Side”, which caused a stir earlier this year too.
