Whilst looking at the jobs available this summer for the droves of university students heading back, we came across this rather magical job offer from the London Dungeon:

With such a bizarre job out there, we though it’d be fun to round up some of the most weird and wonderful we could find on the internet. These are all legit job, so if you’re looking for some *unusual* work, then be sure to apply!
Cat Sitter
Starting with the more realistic of the offers, you could take up this part-time role as a Cat sitter. Please note you have to be qualified, although god knows what that actually entails.
…with a few years experience and some written references. WTF? We are not really sure what “Services Needed – Cats” even means. Yeah, we’ll pass.
Lock Keeper
Want a job steeped in history? How about a Lock Keeper? Yeah, this is a real job available. It requires you to be the modern “face of the waterway” whatever the hell that means.
I don’t know about you but strangers approaching us on a canal in London is generally far from friendly.
Bed Warmer
Ever wished someone had slept in your hotel bed before you without changing the sheets? Us neither, but if you like sleep this might be the job for you.
Holiday Inn is trialing hiring people to be a “giant human hot water bottle” . We aren’t sure how much this is going to further your career after uni, but at least you will have a place to crash after festivals.
Waterslide Tester
Or if you are more of a thrill seeker, then you might want to apply to be a waterslide tester. Like waterslides? Check. Like travel? Check. Not sure about going down slides headfirst? Not to worry that isn’t a compulsory requirement!
What more can we say. That’s the kind of ideal summer job. There probably is a dark side to it though that we haven’t been exposed to… bruising, chaffing and pruning likely to be top of that list.
Time Traveller

Guys, this is not a joke and there are some serious stipulations, such as bringing your own weapons. Fair enough, safety first, the Midwest was pretty mad in 1985. We also particularly like that you get paid on the day of return. Not to worry though, this guy has done this once before so it seems pretty legit.
