After several pushbacks, Wiley has finally gifted us with his long-awaited LP, The Godfather 3.
From “Boasty” to “My One”, Wiley has treated us to a number of breezy singles in recent years but on his new album, he stays true to his Godfather of Grime moniker – delivering a grimey, 22-track album.
The Godfather 3 was initially due to drop last September but was postponed indefinitely, however; now the album has arrived, grime fans will definitely be glad to take in the new dose of material from the legend that is Wiley. The project clocks in at just over an hour in length, making for an extensive body of work which the pioneer uses to flex his bars, flows and production skills.
In a recent interview with The Guardian, Wiley announced The Godfather 3 will be his final album and if this turns out to be true, he’s definitely going out with a bang with this one.
