Four men have been charged with the murder of XXXTentacion, who was shot in broad daylight in Florida last month.

The four men, named as  Dedrick Williams, Michael Boatwright, Trayvon Newsome and Robert Allen, have been charged with first-degree murder with a firearm and armed robbery.

Williams was arrested two days after the incident while Boatwright was charged with murder on 10 July. Newsome and Allen are yet to be caught by the authorities.

XXXTentacion, real name Jahseh Onfroy, was killed on 18 June after being approached by two masked and armed men outside a motorcycle dealership in his hometown. According to a detective working on the case, the suspects “demanded property” from the rapper before firing their weapons. XXXTentacion later died in hospital.

The rapper’s death shocked many and prompted various high-profile names such as Kanye West, J. Cole and Diplo to take to social media to pay tribute to the rising star.
