Set up in 2015 to fill the gap in the provision of BAME films in mainstream cinemas, Your Cinema is fast becoming a platform where audiences enjoy and celebrate the diversity and quality produced by UK filmmakers at a price that all can afford.
To kick off the year, Your Cinema brings you some of the best UK short films from black and minority ethnic communities as part of BFI’s Black Star season. With films from Reggie Yates, Nathan Bryon and Koby Adom as well as a Despa Robinson hosted Q&A with Dylan Duffus (The Intent, 1 Day), this is a great night for BAME independent films; reflecting the cultures that we don’t see enough of on the big screen.
