Created by Hennessy, the Masters of Potential campaign is back for its third instalment which sees The Streets’ Mike Skinner and rising London rapper Flohio team up to write, record and perform a brand new track within 24 hours.
Hennessy has a rich history in music and the Masters of Potential campaign enables musicians to co-create more historic moments as they’re tasked with creating and recording one-off musical moments live to vinyl in the iconic setting of Abbey Road Studios.
In the latest instalment of the project, Birmingham’s Mike Skinner enlists south London’s Flohio to create “How Long’s It Been” – a Mike Skinner-produced track; infused with The Streets’ playful lyricism and Flohio’s fiery delivery.
Previous instalments of the Masters of Potential campaign have seen collaborations from artists such as JP Cooper and Kojey Radical, as well as Krept and Konan and Slaves.
The Streets and Flohio’s performance of “How Long’s It Been” can be viewed in the video above, while the single can be streamed below.
