XXL Magazine are currently preparing to form the 2021 edition of their Freshman Class and a few big names from the UK are in the running to be in the lineup.
Yesterday (March 29), the magazine opened its poll to let you vote for who you want to see in the coveted 10th spot and among the names listed are Manchester’s Aitch, Coventry’s Pa Salieu, Northampton’s slowthai and east London’s Lancey Foux.
Also nominated are the likes of CJ, Flo Milli, Blxst, Coi Leray, Kaash Paige and more.
The annual XXL Freshman Class has emerged as an iconic list in the hip-hop/rap world and is devoted to showcasing artists “set to light up hip-hop’s solar system for years to come”. Previous alumni of the 10th spot include the likes of Lil Yachty, Iggy Azalea, Blueface and the late XXXTentacion.
The polls are open until next week (April 4) and you are allowed to vote once every hour.
