Annie Mac Presents is set to host another annual Lost & Found festival in Malta and it’s looking to be another year of madness. There’s strong showings from all kinda of genres, but as has become commonplace in 2019, UK rap and grime dominates the line up.
With that being said, it was only right that we headed down to the sunshine-filled site on Thursday 2nd of May to check out the cream of the crop from our scene. To make things easy for those going, we’ve rounded up five of the performers from the long weekend that you simply can’t miss out on.
Bugzy Malone
Manchester’s very own King Of The North played the Game Of Thrones over the years and undoubtedly came out as one of the top MC’s in the game. He’s set to bring his fiery live energy to the stage, where’s he due to perform previous smash hits like “Gone Clear”, “Memory Lane” and “Run”, as well as his most recent release, “M.E.N. 2”.
MoStack
With his debut album, Stacko, due right around the corner, there couldn’t be a better time to see man like MoStack live in the flesh. The North London upstart has a lyrical style and delivery that is like nobody else in the game, so mark this down as a one-of-a-kind experience when he takes to the stage. Expect witty bars and catchy melodies in galore.
Lady Leshurr
Lady Leshurr holds it down for the lyrical ladies on the line up, with another set that’s sure to heat up the beach even more than the sunshine. Cut throat grime flows and tongue-in-cheek wit pepper themselves throughout her catalogue, so this one is bound to go off when she steps up to pick up the microphone.
Fredo
A number one record, a hugely successful debut album and a sold out tour are just some of the landmarks Fredo has hit in the last 12 months are so. No longer just the streets favourite, his gritty brand of rap brings a glamorous edge to the trap lifestyle, something that’s resonated up and down the country (and beyond). Third Avenue to Cafe Del Mar, the West London flag is undeniably flying overseas.
Yxng Bane
Already one of the most popular artists in the game, Yxng Bane looks set to launch into an international megastar in 2019. Blending genres and styles not quite like any of his peers, you just need to check out recent collaborations like “How It Is” with Chip and America’s Roddy Ricch to understand just how far this East Londoner is set to go. Expect fun afrobeats and rap vibes, alongside plenty of gal, when he jumps on stage.
