South-east London duo 808INK have provided us with their brand-new mixtape, Still Here.
Serving as the follow-up to their 2019 project Noisy Neighbours, the latest project from 808Charmer and Mumblez Black Ink sees the duo showcase their rapping skills, as well as the former’s production talents, to create a jumpy new project.
Still Here carries a bold and energetic feel throughout, but we do hear the pair channel a more soulful sound on “Mazel Tov” to give us a bar-heavy joint. Additional vocals on the project are provided by Rasstokyo and Yems01 who appear on “Ride or Die” and “Darlin'”.
It’s been two years since their last tape but 808INK use this project to remind us that they’ve been cooking up in the studio and are still here!
