Love them or hate them, regardless the Kardashian’s are in constant limelight, so you couldn’t miss the global headlines about Kim Kardashian being robbed in Paris last week.
According to reports she was robbed at in her Paris accommodation, tied up and gagged in her bathrobe armed robbers made off with an originally reported £8.5 million haul of jewelry (although this is now been stated as a far more modest £4.5 million – phew!!)
Recently, footage has been leaked from inside the apartment in the wake of the robbery, showing a calm looking Kim surrounded by police, which has prompted the internet to go into Konspiracy (we had to) overload.
We have rounded up 9 of the most talked about reasons people are questioning the robbery, have a read and see what you make of them. We for one are still perplexed.
1. She never went to the police station…She did one interview to police then left the country.
2. No forensic report… if she was tied up they should have tested her for trace DNA.
3. The video appears to show cameras and stage lighting set up in the apartment whilst it looks as though her assistant is wearing a lapel mic, but they deny filming KUWTK whilst attending Paris Fashion Week.
4. There was no damage to the door, no forced entry and despite having million’s of pounds word of jewelry they had opted out of using any internal locks, prompting the question as to how the Robbers entered the apartment.
5. In Los Angeles she has four bodyguards around the clock as a minimum, but yet no bodyguards on site AT ALL that night. Instead, reports say her and her sisters shared a modest security troupe of 3 between them whilst in Paris
6. Why would her security allow her to stay at a hotel the notoriously has ZERO internal and external CCTV? Head of Paris-based global security firm Lisda, said he’d never have recommended it to a famous or wealthy client stating, “Security hardly exists there.”
7. She freed herself from cable ties that were reportedly on both her hands and feet. Basically an impossible feat, as the more you wriggle the more they tighten. Survival experts say there is one way to potentially break them, but it would leave you with deep cuts to your wrists, whilst her wrists showed no cuts or bruising at all when she landed back in New York.
8. AND… Despite the police report stating she was screaming and ran onto the balcony screaming for help (after freeing herself), neighbours heard absolutely no commotion
9. Finally, in the video above, taken after the robbery Kim is seen calmly on the sofa face-timing. No hint of hysteria there then.
